This blog and podcast is one I’m pretty excited about β€” I decided to take a pause on bringing in guests and just dive into all things Workflow Queen.

Today we will talk about programs, resources, and support my team and I provide for the bookkeeping and accounting community. So if you’re new here and want to know more about me, or you’ve been around for a while and love what Workflow Queen can provide β€” either way, this is one you’re not going to want to miss, so let’s get started!

My Journey To Now

First and foremost, thank you. Thank you for listening to the podcast and for reading the blogs. Thank you for trusting me to help you in your business, I have had so much fun doing this podcast, and even though it has only been around for a few months (at the time of this recording), it’s holding steady at number 28 in the country for business management.

Mind. BLOWING.

It’s still hard to believe I got there from where I started, my own firm, Top-Notch Bookkeeping Solutions, where I only did taxes. I was a bartender then, so many of my clients were bar patrons that I served on the side!

From there, I decided I wanted to work with business. I wanted to work with people who understand the value of a dollar and paying their taxes, so that’s when I invested in myself and dove into a bookkeeper launch. And when I say I doveβ€” I went full force. I started to grow and grow and grow, which felt amazing. But also started slamming me into walls because I wasn’t able to meet deadlines.

Basically, I didn’t know what the hell I was doing. I did a lot of things really wrong. And that’s because I had no system in place. No task management. AKAβ€” I was floundering. So I went on and got my Asana certification and started hiring teammates. And I realized my life was so much better and easier. And I wanted to help people discover this AHA moment that would evolve into Workflow Queen.

Why Listen to Me? Because I’ve Been There.

I want to reiterate this wasn’t a paid thing at first! I started offering a free guide called 10 Simple Steps to Manage your Practice with Asana (which you can still snag today!) to people in the industry. It all started by asking a simple question on Facebook, which got over 150 comments, about what firm owners wanted to know about using Asana for their firms.

That led me to help people 1:1 by setting up workflows in Asana for them, and I started to feel overwhelmed by this (luckily, I had Asana!).  But I was basically trying to do two full-time jobs and it wasn’t working out. Until I made it official and decided to just create a company by the name someone had dubbed me β€œWorkflow Queen” and start with my Kickoff with Asana for Bookkeepers & Accountants course.

β€”and nobody bought it. Seriously. For months.

That’s when I made my first, very scary, large investment. I decided to work with a launch coach named Alex Beadon. (She’s on this podcast episode here!) I knew it was a disservice to others not to get this out there.

From there, I have had launches and re-launches. Since then, I’ve even created other things to support my audience like a mini-course, retreats, and a group coaching program. And if you need even more custom support, I might even have some 1:1 coaching opportunities available!

(And that’s not to say it’s been all a success story. I’ve had issues aligning with a partner when I wasn’t fully ready. I have been completely burnt out to the point I had to completely remove myself from the business.)

And I feel like these losses, lessons, and successes are actually what make me qualified to speak on business, and to give suggestions about things to work on. Regardless of where you are in your business process, I’ve got tips and programs to get you moving!

How Workflow Queen Can Help You

Whether you’re on your own, have a few clients, or preparing to hire a huge teamβ€” I’ve worked hard to create resources that meet you where you’re at AND act as a stepping stone to the next level.

If you’re in the beginning stages of building your firm, you might start with the Workflows in a Weekend for Bookkeepers & Accountants.  It’s our entry-level program, perfect for the newbie stage to help you learn the foundations of creating repeatable workflows in your firm.

If you don’t want to mess with creating your workflows from scratch, you’re going to want to look at Kickoff with Asana for Bookkeepers and Accountants.

You get dozens of templates upfront, which includes every step of how to do TONS of industry-specific workflows. I’m talking month-end close, tax prep, and new client onboarding (just to name a few!).  It’s even got a sales funnel pipeline and social media calendar!

No matter your stage, I highly recommend that you check it out because it really will give you what you need to set up a system, get everything into place, and finally stop reinventing the wheel in your business.

The last stage is where it gets pretty advanced; you have to be in a specific stage in business. This is our premium group coaching program: Breakthrough for Bookkeepers & Accountants. This is only for you if you already have a project management system in place (it doesn’t need to be Asana, whatever works for you), have a handful of clients, and have a team OR have plans to bring on a team very soon.

This is THE program for you if you’re ready to start delegating the bulk of your business to team members and focus on high-level strategy for the business as a whole.

It's actually six months of group coaching and support. You'll get access to the Facebook group, which is FULL of high-level conversations with our coaches and other firm owners going through the program. It’s where people are talking about things like, β€œHow do I bonus out my team?”, β€œWhat type of benefits should I ask for and give to my team?”, and sooo much more.

I want to encourage EVERYONE to be involved in what we do here, whether it's a free resource or in any of our programs. If you have any questions or you're just not sure where to start, just come and chat with me. I'm more than thrilled to get on a call with you and support you along your journey!
